School visits
A working farm as a classroom. Learners feed the fish, walk the shamba and follow the compost cycle from end to end.
What a visit covers
We build the session around what the class is studying. Tell us the year group and topic when you enquire and we will send a timetable back.
Food and farming
Where food comes from, what plants need, and why crop rotation matters. Learners harvest something and take it to the kitchen.
Aquaculture
Tilapia and catfish: how they are stocked, fed and harvested, and why fish farming matters to food security in Kenya.
Animals and their care
Cows, pigs, sheep, geese, chickens and rabbits. Diet, housing, welfare, and what each animal contributes to the farm.
Waste and the compost cycle
Recycling, reusing and reducing in practice. Learners follow one bucket of waste through the whole loop.

Teachers ask us
How far ahead should we book?
At least three weeks. Terms fill from the front, and the weeks either side of half term go first.
Can you invoice the school?
Yes. We invoice on confirmation with payment due 14 days after the visit for schools with a purchase order.
What if it rains on our date?
The tour runs. The zipline may close. If conditions make the visit unworkable we will move your date at no cost.
Do you take learners with additional needs?
Yes. Tell us what the group needs when you enquire and we will adjust the route, the pace and the group size. Ask about our quieter mid-morning slot.
Ready when you are
Every visit is booked and paid in advance, so pick your date before you travel.
